2009年7月30日，欧盟第七个研究与技术开发框架计划（第七框架计划）发布了53个项目招标公告，项目招标内容涵盖第七框架计划的诸多领域。
项目招标公告涉及的领域包括框架计划的四个专项计划：主题合作计划、前沿探索计划、人力资源计划、以及研究能力建设计划。
合作专项计划共发布了29个招标公告，研究领域包括健康，食品、农渔业和生物技术，信息通讯技术，纳米科学、纳米技术、材料和新制造技术，能源，环境（包括气候变化），交通，社会经济学和人文科学，空间和安全。
新发布的项目招标公告中，专门针对中方单位申请参加的项目如下：
1.健康 – 系统分析蛋白质的翻译后修饰
入选项目要与中方同类项目紧密合作。预期中国科技部科研计划将发布类似招标，资助中方单位在该领域的研究，欧盟资助的项目将与中方项目紧密合作。
2.食品、农渔业和生物技术 – 中欧植物育种伙伴计划
中国农业科学院有意支持或 / 并开展相关辅助研究。
3.交通 – 先进飞机噪声预测及控制方法、大型钛航空结构零部件铸造、降阻气流控制及机翼气动弹性优化
中方项目单位将得到工业和信息化部的资助。
4.社会经济学和人文科学 – 当代中国城市化趋势和进程

On 30 July 2009, the European Commission has published 53 calls for proposals in various thematic areas of the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7).
These 53 calls address issues covered by the Cooperation, Ideas, People, and Capacities Specific Programmes.
Within the Cooperation Specific Programme, 29 calls are dedicated to the themes of Health, Food, Agriculture and fisheries, and Biotechnology, Information and Communication Technologies, Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New Production Technologies, Energy, Environment (including climate change), Transport, Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities, Space and Security.
Among these newly published calls for proposals, the following topics are specifically targeted at Chinese participation:
1.Health – High-throughput analysis of post-translational modifications of proteins
The project selected through this call will be asked to collaborate closely with similar Chinese projects. It is therefore expected that the Ministry of Science and Technology will issue a similar call, within its own research programme(s), to finance Chinese projects in this area and the EC funded project would cooperate closely with that related project.
2.Food, agriculture and fisheries, and Biotechnology – EU-China Partnership initiative in plant breeding
For this specific call the China Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) intends to support or/and carry out mirroring and complementary actions.
3.Transport –Advanced aircraft noise prediction and control methods, casting of large titanium aerostructures components, and flow control for drag reduction and wing aeroelastic optimisation
For this specific call, the Chinese participants will receive financial support from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technologies of the People's Republic of China.
4.Socio-economic and humanities – Understanding urbanisation trends and processes in contemporary China
This topic will offer the possibility to European and Chinese researchers to study in depth facets of contemporary China and bring useful comparisons from Europe.
